Our Story
Continu began in 2010 as a startup built on the belief that secure backup power and energy storage could be done better. In 2012, a pivotal partnership with Schneider Electric (formerly MGE) helped cement our foundations for growth.
From the outset, we focused on niche technical excellence, honesty, and service in a market dominated by large OEMs and generalist contractors. This built deep technical credibility, long-standing customer relationships, and a strong foothold in UPS and Battery Energy Storage across the UK and Ireland.
By 2014, we had established engineering teams across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, alongside strong supply chain partnerships with leading global UPS and BESS manufacturers, enabling a vendor-neutral approach to every project.
Over the following years, Continu developed a reputation for solving complex power challenges across critical sites. We have delivered award-winning projects for more than 300 organisations, won 10 industry awards, and designed and installed first-in-kind microgrid solutions that demonstrate how businesses can increase profit and gain greater freedom from grid uncertainty.
Today, we remain a specialist team focused on protecting critical power, reducing energy risk, and delivering the know-how, experience, and technology to overcome today’s energy challenges.
